And we are at the middle of the New York Fashion Week. The fourth day of the shows had many nice collections, but I’ve selected four that stood out. Let’s check out the highlights of the day.
Victoria Beckham’s show was marked by tailoring and chiffon. The designer mixed the two different fabrics in a great way. Her collection brought a preppy air. The colours varied between a dark blue, marsala and pale blue.
Prabal Gurung put together a collection with strategic cut outs and feminine silhouettes. The mixture of tailoring, heavy and fluid fabrics were also there. Moreover, the chosen length was the mid. To end the show, Gurung brought a political tough. The models went down the runaway wearing T-shirts with feminine and immigrant empowerment prints.
The Renaissance period was the inspiration for the designer. The collection presented a lot of coats and pieces with beautiful embroidery. The velvet was the fabric chosen by the designer. To complete, heavy boots with moorings completed the looks.
A futuristic touch marked Custo’s parade. Many metallic fabrics, sparkles and more sparkles. Mini asymmetrical dresses and with marked shoulders appeared on the catwalk. Furthermore, sunglasses with coloured lenses were present.
The fourth day of the New York Fashion Week is over. Lot’s of trends are still being confirmed, but a lot can still happen. Let’s keep an eye on the four remaining days.
