Adam Lippes

Adam Lippes presented in his collection a trend we already know, the oversized. In addition, the main highlight of the show were the fabrics used. Lippes chose fine fabrics, such as silk and cashmere to compose his collection.

Ryan Roche

For his first time on the runaway with a fall collection, Roche chose a simple, clean and delicate collection. The main fabrics were tailoring and cashmere. The colours were very neutral – black, white and diverse shades of nude -, except for the bright red. Such color by the way, gave a special touch to the collection.

Dion Lee

The Dion Lee’s show presented a certain variety of looks. There were pieces from structured tailoring to flowing skirts with sweaters. In the colours, the designer bet on the usual jokers – black, white and nude – and a bright orange. This colour can even be seen at the back of the catwalk.

Christian Siriano

Christian Siriano presented a collection inspired by his trip to the Nevada Valley of Fire State Park. The colour palette was composed for orange, brown, pink and copper. In fact, the combination of a dark and closed orange with pink, appeared a lot in the show. Overall, it was a very feminine collection, which featured marked waist and plus size models.

Jonathan Simkhai

Simkhai brought a dramatic collection inspired by old Spain. Dramatic sleeves, ruffles, shoulder pads and arabesques refer to this country’s time. The fully embroidered dresses, and jumpsuit, resemble the royalty of the time. For casual occasions, looks with statement blouses and jeans were presented.

Alexander Wang

The show began with tailored pieces, hello blazer. Then it went to looks more for clubbing, with lots of leather pants. The collection had a cool and edgy feeling. Almost all pieces were black, with a few grey and white. In all, Wang presented a collection that is wearable, but nothing very original.

The third day of New York Fashion Week had from dramatic collections to the simple ones. Velvet, tailoring and blazers remain the biggest bets of the season.
