When I was a kid I used to watch House, M.D. with my family, but we always watched the episodes that went on TV and they were always disconnected, they did not follow an order. At the end of 2014 we bought the box and after my mother finished watching all the episodes (yes, my parents love House), it was my turn.
House will follow the story of the brilliant but arrogant Gregory House, the head doctor of the department of rare and special cases. House commands a medical team and together they will investigate cases that no other doctor could find a solution.
- Why you should see: House is arrogant and does not mince hi words, so he says all that everyone would like to say. His brilliance and sarcastic jokes are contagious, impossible not to fall in love with the anti-hero. The secondary characters are very well developed, each one have a different personality which contrast and even contributes to House’s. House, M.D. is also a series that can explore very well the emotions. The show gives us funny moments, sad, joy and even anger in a way that just a few series can.
- What I thought: House is one of my favourite series of all time. I love some characters, and although I do not like a few, I understand the importance of them. The final two episodes of the 4th season, my favourite, were one of the best seasons finale I have ever watched. The series finale is not far behind, it was entirely consistent with the series and the character and I can not imagine a better ending. House, M.D. showed how the pain can change and affect a person’s life and forces it to do things.
House, M.D. takes 4.3 stars, being rounded to 4.5.
The series was created by David Shore and was on air from 2004 to 2012, having 8 seasons.
